AI Use & Transparency Policy
How Webium uses artificial intelligence and the responsibilities associated with AI-generated applications and code.
1. AI is part of the Service
When you ask Webium to build or change an application, your request may be processed by an AI model. Relevant project context may be supplied to the model so it can perform the requested task.
2. AI output is probabilistic
AI-generated plans, code, explanations and other output can contain mistakes, insecure patterns, missing functionality or incorrect assumptions. Output can also resemble material generated for other users. You should test applications before production use and maintain appropriate human review.
3. No professional or legal certification
Webium may help generate software used in regulated fields, but an AI-generated application is not automatically compliant with privacy, employment, banking, health, accessibility, consumer-protection, tax or other laws. Webium does not provide legal, medical, financial, accounting or other licensed professional advice.
4. High-impact decisions
If an application assists decisions about employment, lending, housing, insurance, education, health care, government services or another area with significant effects on individuals, you are responsible for assessing whether law requires human oversight, impact assessments, notices, explanations, bias testing, recordkeeping, appeal rights or restrictions on automated decision-making.
5. Customer data and model training
Webium does not use Customer Content to train Webium-owned general-purpose AI models. Webium may use third-party AI providers to process prompts and project context for the purpose of delivering requested features. Those providers are listed on our Subprocessor page.
6. Intellectual property
As between Webium and the customer, project-specific generated source code is assigned to the customer as described in the Terms, subject to third-party and open-source rights. AI output may not be unique and Webium does not guarantee that output is eligible for intellectual-property protection or free from all third-party claims.
7. Prohibited AI use
AI features remain subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use them to facilitate malware, phishing, fraud, child exploitation, unlawful surveillance, or other prohibited conduct.
8. AI-generated content in customer applications
Where law requires a person to be informed that they are interacting with AI or receiving AI-generated/manipulated content, the customer operating the application is responsible for providing the required disclosure unless Webium has expressly agreed to provide it.
9. Changes
AI technology and regulation change quickly. We may update this policy as providers, features or legal requirements evolve.
