Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for lawful and responsible use of Webium, generated applications and Webium-hosted infrastructure.

Effective: September 3, 2026

Core rule: Webium may be used only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not harm people, systems, networks or third-party rights.

1. Illegal or rights-infringing activity

You may not use Webium to create, host, facilitate or materially assist activity that violates applicable law or the rights of others, including intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual or trade-secret rights.

2. Malware, phishing and security abuse

You may not use the Service to create or distribute malware, ransomware, credential theft, phishing pages, malicious code, botnets, destructive payloads, unauthorized scanning, denial-of-service attacks, exploit kits or tools primarily intended to obtain unauthorized access.

Legitimate security testing is permitted only when you have authorization for the systems being tested and your activity does not threaten Webium or third-party infrastructure.

3. Fraud, deception and impersonation

You may not use Webium for scams, fraudulent transactions, deceptive impersonation, forged identity documents, unlawful financial schemes, or materially misleading practices intended to deprive another person of money, property, credentials or legal rights.

4. Exploitation and sexual abuse

Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, trafficking, non-consensual intimate imagery and material that unlawfully sexualizes or exploits a person are prohibited.

5. Threats, violence and harassment

You may not use the Service to make credible threats of violence, facilitate targeted violent wrongdoing, unlawfully stalk another person, or conduct severe or repeated harassment that violates applicable law.

6. Privacy and surveillance

You may not collect, sell, expose or use personal data unlawfully; deploy unlawful spyware; obtain credentials without authorization; or conduct unlawful tracking, biometric identification or surveillance.

7. Spam and messaging abuse

You may not send unsolicited bulk messages, evade anti-spam controls, harvest addresses unlawfully, spoof headers deceptively, or use a Webium application to violate applicable electronic-marketing laws.

8. Regulated and high-impact uses

You are responsible for laws governing employment, credit, housing, insurance, education, health, government benefits and other consequential decisions. You may not represent that Webium itself certifies an application for such laws. Automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects should include the human review, notice, testing and appeal mechanisms required by applicable law.

9. Restricted data

Unless expressly approved by Webium in writing under an appropriate agreement, do not use the general Service as the system of record for HIPAA-regulated protected health information, raw payment-card authentication data, biometric templates, highly sensitive government data, or personal information of children subject to specialized child-privacy laws.

10. Resource abuse

You may not intentionally bypass limits, interfere with service quality, mine cryptocurrency using Webium resources without express permission, run uncontrolled automated traffic, or use the Service primarily as a generic file-distribution or compute-abuse platform outside the intended application-building purpose.

11. Enforcement

Webium may investigate credible reports and may remove or disable content, limit functionality, suspend projects or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to address violations, legal obligations or urgent security risks. We may consider severity, intent, harm, history and remediation when determining a response.
